KlutchShots AI is a sports video platform that helps athletes, families, and teams capture key moments hands-free, access multiple camera angles, organize their footage, and transform horizontal videos into social-ready content.

As a Senior Product Designer and Product Manager, I led the end-to-end product experience across game capture, player profiles, crowdsourced multi-angle video, play tagging, AI-powered reframing, editing, and export. I worked closely with the founder and a distributed engineering team to turn complex video workflows into a clear and accessible iOS experience.

Problem Statement

Capturing and sharing sports highlights traditionally required someone to continuously operate a camera, manually search through long recordings, and edit footage before it could be shared.

KlutchShots needed to solve several connected challenges:

Users could miss important moments while operating the camera.
Videos recorded across different devices remained fragmented.
Accessing multiple angles required coordination between several users and phones.
Horizontal game footage was not optimized for social media.
Clips lacked player, team, and play context, making them difficult to organize and find.
Advanced video tools needed to remain accessible to users without editing experience.

The challenge was not simply to create a video editor. It was to build a connected sports ecosystem that transformed live game footage into organized, multi-angle, social-ready highlights.

Our Approach

We designed a connected workflow that turns live game footage into organized, multi-angle, social-ready highlights. Each capability reduces manual work while keeping users in control.

Hands-Free Highlights
Enabled users to record from a tripod and tap only when a moment was worth saving.
Crowdsourced Multi-Angle Video
Connected matching footage from multiple devices, giving users instant access to different perspectives of the same play.
Connected Player Profiles
Brought player information, teams, sports, and videos together within one centralized profile.
AI and Manual Reframing
Used AI to transform horizontal footage into vertical social content, while providing manual zooming and framing controls when needed.
Structured Play Tagging
Allowed users to classify plays by rating, team, jersey number, action type, and description for easier organization and discovery.

Achievements
